The Hammer val ( Martelltal in German ) is a valley of the autonomous province of Bolzano , which starts from the village of Latsch and stretches for about 30 kilometers.Immersed in the Stelvio National Park , it ends with Lake Gioveretto ; after the lake, the road ends with a large parking lot, near the Gasthof Schönblick and Enzian at an altitude of 2,051 m. Along the valley flows the Rio Plima , but despite this, the valley is not particularly rich in waterways.
