About

My first photos were taken with a Kodak istamatic 177X when I was a child.

Few years later my father gave me his reflex. The legendary Yashica FX-3, a camera I used a lot. A pure mechanical camera. A good body to learn how to shoot photo, there were only three leds giving you indication on correct exposure.

Later I bought a Contax 167MT (same lens mount of Yashica). A that time I had a Yashica 135mm f2.8 lens, a Tamrom 200mm f3.5 and a couple of superb Zeiss: 28mm f2.8 and 50mm f1.7, lens with incredibile optical performances.

I entered in the digital era with a couple of compact cameras: Nikon Coolpix 5900 first and later Nikon P80.
Than I moved to my first reflex autofocus: Nikon D7000. A good camera at that time, gave me a lot of pleasure.

Finally I moved to mirror less camera. I own a Nikon Z5, bought in kit with Nikon z 24-50mm f4-6.3.
Mirrorless have pros and cons respect reflex, for sure they are lighter and they are less expensive.
